Preti Flaherty Welcomes Intellectual Property Attorney Eric C. Osterberg to the Firm

Preti Flaherty is pleased to announce that attorney Eric C. Osterberg has joined the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group as a Director, working from the Boston office.

Eric brings more than 30 years of experience as an IP attorney, specializing in IP and commercial contracts and litigation, IP licensing, and counseling. His clients include trademark, copyright, and patent owners and users in a variety of industries, such as software, internet service providers and telecommunications, entertainment, print publishing, advertising, and clothing. He also serves as outside general counsel to a wide array of innovative, emerging, and evolving businesses.

Eric is a graduate of Emory University School of Law, where he served on the Board of Editors for the Emory Law Journal, and Northwestern University. He began his career in law at a boutique IP law firm in New York City and has been of counsel and a partner at several notable IP firms in New York City and Connecticut before forming his own boutique IP firm in Boston. He is a frequent lecturer, has published numerous articles on the subject of copyright law, and has served on the editorial board of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Quarterly Journal.
