Attorneys Kara Sweeney and Mark Puffer Named Directors

Concord, NH
CONCORD, N.H. (Feb. 2, 2009) – Attorneys Kara N. Sweeney and Mark H. Puffer were named Directors in the Concord, N.H. office of Preti Flaherty.

Kara N. Sweeney joined Preti in 2003 and focuses her practice on general business, securities and affordable housing matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and commercial real estate. Prior to practicing law, she held management positions at two Vermont ski resorts.

Sweeney is a 1995 graduate of Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont, and earned her law degree at Vermont Law School in South Royalton, Vermont. She is a resident of Bow, N.H.

Mark H. Puffer joined Preti Flaherty in 2006 and practices municipal and real estate law, as well as civil litigation. Prior to joining Preti Flaherty, Puffer practiced as a partner-director with Barto and Puffer, P.A. in Concord where he focused primarily on municipal and administrative law. He also served as an assistant attorney general with the State of New Hampshire Office of Attorney General.

Puffer is a 1973 graduate of Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and earned his law degree in 1977 from Boston College Law School. He is a resident of Concord, N.H.
