Preti Strategies Launches New Hampshire Office

New England Firm Expands in Key Region with Notable Hires

Preti Strategies announced today that it is expanding its footprint with the launch of a New Hampshire office in Concord. The office will be led by former State Senator Andrew Hosmer and accomplished public and government affairs consultant Lucas Meyer. The pair joins a growing Preti Strategies team that helps clients with strategic planning, message development and communications, direct government relations, state and federal contracts, and crisis management across a diverse spectrum of industries and issues.

Before joining the firm as a Senior Policy Advisor, Andrew Hosmer served in the New Hampshire State Senate from 2012-2016, representing the 7th District. While in the Senate, he served on the Finance Committee, Ways and Means Committee, and the Commerce Committee. From 2014-2016, he was the Democratic Caucus leader. Andrew has played a prominent role in many key policy-making decisions, including crafting a unanimously approved state budget and bringing legislators and interest groups together to find bipartisan compromises on a range of issues.

“New Hampshire is in the midst of incredible change and progress,” said Hosmer. “In these dynamic times, any effective approach to crafting public policy requires on the ground knowledge, sound strategy, and a thoughtful understanding of our state’s political environment. I saw this first hand during my time in public service, and I was fortunate to have some of the most rewarding experiences of my life working on issues to keep our state growing and moving forward.”

As the Public and Government Affairs Advisor for Preti Strategies, Lucas Meyer provides strategic guidance and support to clients on public affairs, government relations and strategic communications projects in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Having run several successful state-level campaigns in New Hampshire, Lucas has the experience to deliver the insight and direction critical to the success of client campaigns and public affairs efforts. Lucas previously served as the New Hampshire Public Affairs Consultant to one of the largest energy companies in North America, campaign manager on successful competitive state races, and Press Secretary for the New Hampshire Democratic Party.
