Preti Flaherty Welcomes Attorney Sara N. Moppin to the Firm

Preti Flaherty is pleased to announce that attorney Sara N. Moppin has joined the firm.

Sara is an experienced and highly regarded Maine business lawyer. She has been identified as a New England Rising Star by Super Lawyers in each of the past five years. At Preti Flaherty, Sara will focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters, business transactions, commercial law, contract issues and finance.

Sara has represented individuals and privately held businesses in a wide range of sectors, including oil and gas, energy, craft brewing, medical products, and banking and financial institutions.

Preti Flaherty’s Managing Partner, John M. Sullivan said, “Sara is a great counselor to her clients, who prides herself on responsiveness and meeting her client’s needs. Sara is a magna cum laude graduate of Loyola University New Orleans, and a cum laude graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, where she was an editor for the Maine Law Review. She has served as a member and chair on the City of Portland Zoning Board of Appeals; a past president of the Cumberland County Bar Association; a board member and general counsel to The Maine Women’s Conference, Inc.; chair of the Maine Community Foundation’s Cumberland County Fund; and a resource mentor for the Portland chapter of SCORE. Sara resides with her family in Portland, Maine.
