Representative Matters

  • Enabled the development of a new 25-megawatt biomass-fueled generation facility by securing incentives including a long-term power purchase agreement, tax benefits and a $2,000,000 grant.
  • Secured key federal regulatory approvals for a $6 billion transaction involving the sale of a nationwide portfolio of manufacturing facilities and related generation assets. Todd minimized his clients' regulatory burdens while securing the necessary approvals, enabling the deal to take place.
  • Obtained certification of a refurbished 50-megawatt biomass generation project at a forest products manufacturer's facility as a new renewable resource, allowing the mill to produce renewable energy certificates. This created a new revenue stream for the mill.
  • Defended industrial energy consumers against proposed legislation that would have reduced incentives for energy efficient investment. To achieve this result, Todd demonstrated the value of energy efficiency programs, convincing legislators of the return on investment.
